When selecting the proper CAPACITIVE sensor for any bottle level application there are several factors to consider.

  1.  Sensing range, which is determined by the location of the sensor, bottle and the thickness of the bottle.
  2.  Bottle material, which affects the sensitive and reliability of the sensor (glass, plastic and others).
  3.  Actual dielectric constant of the fluid (water, oil and others)
