Photo-electric sensors use 3 core detection principles that are universal to the technology fundamentals (diffuse, retro-reflective and thru-beam).  Laser sensing methods are based on mechanical or electronic Back-Ground-Suppression using angular reflected light to determine the target’s position.  We use a programmable threshold adjustment to better improve the detection reliability.
